Buns with cheese "Nests"


Ingredients for Making Nests Cheese Buns

Dough

  1. Wheat flour 500 grams
  2. Dry yeast 7 grams
  3. Salt 1 and 1/2 tablespoons
  4. Sugar 2 tablespoons
  5. Egg 1 piece
  6. Egg white 1 piece
  7. Warm milk 250 milliliters
  8. Olive oil 130 milliliters

Filling

  1. Telemea cheese 250 grams
  2. Egg 1 piece
  3. Fresh parsley (chopped) 2 tablespoons

To lubricate the dough

  1. Butter (melted) 50 grams
  2. Egg yolk 1 piece
  3. Milk 1 tablespoon

Inventory:

Plates, grater, kitchen knife, cutting board, tablespoon, baking tray, brush, spatula, dough cutting mold, rolling pin.

Cooking Nests cheese buns:

Step 1: prepare the dough.


Sift the wheat flour into a deep plate, and then gradually add all the other ingredients, kneading the dough all the time. First, stir with a spatula, and after the mass becomes more uniform, continue kneading with your hands.

Knead the dough well for 10-15 minutes, and then cover it with a kitchen towel and put it in a warm place without drafts.

The mass will rise during 1 hour. You will notice that it has increased significantly in volume.

Step 2: prepare the filling.


Grate the telemea cheese on a medium grater and mix it with an egg and finely chopped herbs.

Stir the filling so that it becomes more uniform in its consistency.

Step 3: sculpt the nests.


Mash the dough and divide it into 12 equal in size and weight of the ball.

Take one of the balls and roll it out with a rolling pin. With a special round shape or a glass, cut out a circle from the dough.

Gather the edges remaining on the sides and roll them into a thin sausage. Bend the sausage in half and twist its edges together.
Decorate the previously cut circle with the resulting wicker.
Blind all the nests.
Put the billets on the baking tray (oiled or covered with parchment) and brush with the melted butter.

Step 4: add the filling.


Put the cheese filling in the nests with a spoon, slightly leveling it from above. Then grease everything with egg yolk, slaughtered with milk.
Leave the nests on 20 minutes for detuning.
Important: try to leave a larger distance on the baking sheet between the buns so that they do not stick together during baking.

Step 5: bake cheese rolls.


Bake buns with cheese in the oven in the middle (170-180 degrees) temperature to a pretty golden color.
When the baking is browned, remove it from the oven and cool to room temperature. But already cooled buns with cheese "Nests" can, and even need to be served.

Step 6: serve the cheese rolls.


The bun dough is very tasty and airy, and the filling is juicy.
