Cooking marinated onion rings:
Step 1: Prepare the onion.
The most presentable pickled onions are obtained from red. Agree, pink rings look better. All the beauty of pickled onions in the cut. Peel the onion and cut into rings. Step 2: Cook the marinated onion rings.
A chopped onion languishes in a bowl awaiting further fate. Fold it in a clean, dry jar more tightly. Do not forget to add pepper between layers. Now we will prepare the marinade.
Pour water into the pan and bring to a boil, add salt and sugar, mix until completely dissolved. Turn off the heat and add wine vinegar. Try the marinade, everyone has a different taste, if there is a lot of acid - add more sugar to taste, too sweet - you can add vinegar. You should get a good balance of sweet and sour.
Pour onion in a jar with a hot marinade. We leave it on the table until it cools completely, and then put it in the refrigerator. In a day, the onion will be ready.
Step 3: Serve the pickled onion rings.
Pickled onions are so delicious that they can be eaten just like that, for example, with bread. Its pungency in the marinade became piquant, the pungency (if it was) was gone, and the aroma became stronger, but softer. Transfer the onions from the jar into a small bowl, decorate with any greens and serve.
