Ingredients for Stewing Potatoes with Mushrooms in Sour Cream

  2. Forest mushrooms (frozen) 300 grams
  3. Potato 500 grams
  4. Fat sour cream 100 milliliters

Cooking stewed potatoes with mushrooms in sour cream:

Step 1: fry the onions.


Peel the onion from the husk, rinse with cool water and cut into small cubes.
Heat a little vegetable oil in a pan and dip the onions in it. Stir fry it over medium heat. Fry until the onions become glass.

Step 2: stew the mushrooms.


Throw frozen mushrooms and fry them until all moisture has evaporated. Remember to mix the contents of the pan often.
If you use fresh mushrooms, be sure to peel them, sort and rinse, cut into small pieces and fry together with onions until soft.

Step 3: add the potatoes.


Peel the potatoes, rinse and cut into medium-sized cubes.
Add potatoes to the pan with onions and mushrooms, mix gently, cover and cook. From time to time, everything will need to be mixed, but do it carefully so that the potatoes do not break up.

Step 4: add the sour cream.


When the potatoes are soft, add all the sour cream to the pan and mix thoroughly. Continue stewing until the potatoes are cooked completely and are loose.

At the very end, add salt and ground pepper to potato with mushrooms stewed in sour cream. Stir, remove everything from the heat and serve to the table until cool.

- In an extreme case, you can use fresh champignons, if even frozen forest mushrooms were not found.
