Ham and Tomato Pizza Ingredients

For the test (2-3 pizzas)

  1. Wheat flour optional
  2. Kefir or yogurt 500 milliliters
  3. Dry yeast 2 teaspoons
  4. Water 1/2 cup
  5. Vegetable oil 1/2 cup
  6. Sugar to taste

For filling

  1. Ham 300-400 grams
  2. Tomatoes 2 pieces (large)
  3. Tomato ketchup (natural) 3-4 tablespoons
  4. Bulgarian pepper 1 piece (large)
  5. Hard cheese 200 grams
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Greens to taste

Cooking pizza with ham and tomatoes:

Step 1: prepare the dough.


Dilute the yeast in half a glass of warm water with a little sugar. Then mix this mass with kefir or yogurt. Pour in the butter and start kneading the dough, gradually adding small portions of flour. Knead everything on a plate first, but then, as the dough becomes denser, crush it with your hands. As a result, you should have a soft dough, so be careful not to sprinkle flour.
There is a lot of dough, for a few pizzas, so immediately pinch off the quantity you need, and wrap the rest in cling film and put in the refrigerator.

Step 2: prepare the vegetables.


Rinse the peppers and tomatoes, remove the stalk, and peel the seeds from the inside. And cut the vegetables as you like more: at least straws, at least cubes, and at least large slices. This is your home-made pizza, so decide for yourself how it will be tastier.

Step 3: prepare the cheese and ham.


Grate hard cheese on a medium grater, and cut the ham, just like vegetables, into arbitrary pieces.

Step 4: form pizza with ham and tomatoes.


Put some of the dough on a flour-dusty worktop and roll it very thinly. Then transfer to a baking dish and thoroughly coat with tomato ketchup. After evenly sprinkle the sausage, slices of tomato and bell pepper over the dough. Salt to taste. To top it, sprinkle grated cheese on top.
Attention: if desired, you can season the pizza with dried aromatic herbs or pepper.

Step 5: bake pizza with ham and tomatoes.


Bake pizza with ham and tomatoes in a well preheated 180 degrees oven for 15-20 minutes. Roughly speaking, until the cheese is melted and the dough is baked. Serve rosy baked goods immediately on the table, decorating with fresh herbs.
