Summer cake with crumbs


Ingredients for Making Summer Crumb Pie

For the test

Cooking summer cake with crumbs:

Step 1: prepare the berries.


First, put all the berries in a colander and rinse thoroughly in several waters, so that all twigs, leaves and other rubbish lag behind them and emerge. Then wait for them to dry. Go through the berries by removing the ponytails. Remove the seeds from the cherries or cherries, and large strawberries can be cut into smaller pieces.
Put the prepared berries in a deep plate, cover with sugar and starch. Mix gently without crushing the flesh.

Step 2: prepare the dough for crumbs.


Fold the hazelnuts in a blender and chop it. Then pour wheat flour into the same place and continue to chop until the mass turns into crumbs.
In the meantime, soften the butter, cut it into small pieces and place in a blender with flour and nuts. Mix and grind all together until you have a mass that looks like crumbled bread pulp. Sugar must be added at the very end.
Attention: butter should be softened only at room temperature and nothing else!

Step 3: we form and bake a summer cake with crumbs.


Set the oven to warm up 200 degrees Celsius. In a heat-resistant form, pour the berries mixed with sugar and starch, put crumbs of flour, butter and hazelnuts on top of them, leveling and pressing it lightly.
Bake summer crumb pie for 25 minutes at 200 degreesand then another 15 minutesby lowering the oven to 10-15 degrees. Once you get the finished cake, you can serve it to the table, without waiting until it cools down.

Step 4: serve the summer cake with crumbs.


Serve summer pie with crumbs in a warm or hot form for dessert or afternoon snack, decorating each piece with a ball of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if you like. But even without all these tricks, the pastries turn out to be tasty and tender, so you definitely won’t want to stop eating just one bite.

- In the same way, you can make a summer pie by adding pieces of fruit, for example apples, pears or peaches, to the berries.

- Adjust the amount of sugar according to your needs. Like the sweeter, add it more, and vice versa.
