Ingredients for Salad with Broccoli and Crab Sticks
- Broccoli Cabbage 400 grams
- Crab sticks (crab meat) 200 grams
- Chicken eggs 3 pieces

Making a salad with broccoli and crab sticks:
Step 1: prepare the eggs.
First put the eggs to cook, so this is a rather long process, if you compare it with the preparation of other ingredients for this salad. I remind you that you need to boil eggs in slightly boiling water for 10-12 minutes. After cooking, cool them by sending them under a stream of ice water. At the end, the eggs will only have to peel and cut into small cubes or straws.
Attention: eggs must always be cooled to the end, otherwise they will not be so easy to clean.
Step 2: prepare the broccoli cabbage.
Disassemble broccoli into inflorescences, cut off thick stems. Boil water in a pan, add salt and pour prepared cabbage there. Cook for 3-4 minutes, then discard the contents of the pan in a colander and douse in cold water. All, let the broccoli lie down now, cool and get rid of excess moisture. But after cooling, pour it onto a cutting board and cut into small pieces.
Step 3: prepare the crab sticks.
Clean the crab sticks from the packaging and wait until they thaw a little. Cooled can immediately be cut into cubes or strips.
Step 4: prepare the lemon zest.
Rinse the lemon properly and then wipe dry. Using a very fine grater, peel the zest from the fruit. Moreover, we need only the yellow part, so stop right away, as soon as the place you are rubbing becomes paler.
Step 5: mix the salad with broccoli and crab sticks.
Wait until all the ingredients have cooled completely and start mixing the salad. Sprinkle broccoli first, add crab sticks, then chicken eggs and sprinkle everything at the end with lemon zest, salt and black pepper. Season the dish with sour cream and carefully, without breaking the ingredients, mix the salad with a tablespoon. Make sure there is enough salt and spices, and then put everything away in the refrigerator for at least 1,5 hour.
Step 6: serve broccoli salad with crab sticks.
Serve broccoli and crab sticks salad chilled immediately from the refrigerator to the table. I usually serve it for lunch or dinner, dividing it into portions, but simply leaving it in a common salad bowl. And although there are no big fans of broccoli in our house, this salad is always eaten very quickly. Therefore, try, cook and eat with pleasure.
