Stewpan, colander, garlic press, kitchen knife, cutting board, serving dish, disposable paper towels.
Making prune salad:
Step 1: prepare the prunes.
Rinse the prunes with warm water, then put it in a saucepan. Pour the ingredient with boiling water and leave it as such on 10-15 minutes. After pour the obsessed dishes into a colander, wait until excess moisture drains. Transfer scalded prunes to disposable paper towels and wipe dried fruit. Cut the ingredient thus prepared into thin strips.
Step 2: prepare the walnuts.
Walnut kernels also need to be chopped. Do this in any way convenient for you, for example, with an ordinary kitchen knife or use a blender. The main thing is not to overdo it, the nuts should not be chopped very finely, let them stand out brightly in the salad in separate pieces.
Step 3: prepare the garlic.
You need very few garlic cloves. Enough for one or two pieces. Peel them from the husks and grind them in a special press by passing the cloves through it twice. This is a very important point, garlic should be really small, turned into slurry.
Step 4: mix the salad with prunes.
To get started, prepare a dressing by mixing sour cream with garlic pulp.
Now lay the salad in layers. First, sprinkle the nuts, smooth, then put the chopped prunes on them, top them all with sour cream and garlic sauce and serve. Salt, as you noticed, is not necessary.
Step 5: serve the prune salad.
Serve the prune salad without stirring, so that it looks more aesthetically pleasing, use a special form for laying it out. On top of the dish you can decorate with whole kernels of walnuts and slices of prunes, laying them in a bizarre-shaped flower.
That’s all done. Enjoy a delicious and incredibly healthy salad.
Enjoy your meal!
