Mushroom Chop Ingredients

Cooking mushroom chops:

Step 1: prepare the mushrooms.


We take 400 - 500 grams of oyster mushroom and cut off their rhizomes. Rinse the mushrooms thoroughly under cold running water and dry with paper kitchen towels. We select the hardest and largest hats from the total mass of mushrooms.
In turn, we put them on a cutting board and lightly beat off with a kitchen hammer. We act carefully, do not forget that this is not meat! After sprinkle the beaten mushrooms on both sides to taste with salt and black pepper. We shift them into a deep plate and leave them in this form on 5 - 7 minutes so that oyster mushrooms are saturated with salt and aroma of spices.

Step 2: prepare the flour and eggs.


During this time, we drive two unshell eggs into another deep plate. Lightly beat them with a table fork to a homogeneous consistency and light splendor.
Then, using a fine mesh sieve, sift 100 grams of wheat flour into a clean, deep plate and proceed to the next step.

Step 3: fry the mushroom chops.


Turn on the stove over medium heat and put on it a frying pan with 2 - 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil. One by one, dip the mushroom "caps" in flour, then in a beaten egg and put them in a pan with heated oil. Fry chops on both sides until golden brown. This process will take approximately 5 minutes.

From time to time, helping ourselves with a kitchen spatula, we turn the mushrooms from side to side for uniform frying. In the same way, we bread and fry the rest of the chops, pouring vegetable oil into the pan from time to time. Immediately after cooking, serve them hot to the table with any side dish you like.

Step 4: serve the mushroom chops.


Mushroom chops are served hot. This yummy can be savored either as an independent dish, or with a side dish: for example, mashed potatoes, fried potatoes, cereals from various cereals or salads from fresh vegetables. Cream-based or tomato-based sauces are suitable for such chops. Enjoy it!

Recipe Tips:

- If desired, the set of spices can be supplemented with any dried spices that are suitable for cooking vegetable dishes.

- Instead of vegetable oil, you can use butter.

- Eggs can be beaten together with 1 - 2 tablespoons of sour cream or cream, these ingredients will give the chop a more delicate flavor.

- Chops can be dipped in beaten eggs, after breaded in breadcrumbs and fried. From this, their crust will be more crispy.
