You also need a glass or plastic container.

  1. Put the liter of whole milk in a saucepan or pan and heat until it starts to boil.
  2. When it breaks on boiling, the milk extinguishes the fire and removes the vessel. Let it cool.

Yogurt Donuts

Beat the yogurt, eggs, rum essence, lemon juice, sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt well in a bowl. Add freshly sifted flour together with baking powder. Stir vigorously to prevent lumps from forming. The composition obtained must be of the consistency of thick cream.

Heat more oil in a tall pan. Take the teaspoon of the mixture, put it in the hot oil and bake on one side. Quickly turn the donuts and bake on the other side. They are made very quickly and most return to the pan by themselves.

Remove them on absorbent napkins, but you will see that if the oil is well heated, the donuts will not absorb oil. Powder them while hot with vanilla powdered sugar.

It can be served hot or cold, being incredibly soft and fluffy, in both situations.

The nutritional benefits of yogurt

The truth is that yogurt is a food very rich in essential nutrients, as well as beneficial bacteria for our digestive system and our own intestinal flora, so that it can be turned into an excellent nutritional option, either as a dessert, as a snack or as a breakfast.

In fact, a 100 gram natural yogurt provides vitamins A and B (especially folic acid, niacin and B12, 180 mg of calcium, 240 mg of potassium and 17 mg of magnesium, in addition to other minerals such as On the other hand , its caloric content is relatively low, so it is an excellent option for weight loss diets, given that a 250 ml serving contributes only 150 calories.

Yogurt and blueberry donuts (quick, poured donuts)

The fastest donut recipe I can have! Just mix the ingredients, and that's it, they are already ready to pour with a spoon in the hot oil. The yogurt in the composition gives them a soft texture and a very good taste.

Yogurt goes great with a few blueberries, I've tested this many times. For example in this smoothie recipe. Blueberries give a wonderful color to yogurt donuts and a special flavor.

Every year I put a few bags of blueberries in the freezer, especially to have them at hand in winter, when I want to cheer up a dessert recipe.

These donuts are soft, creamy on the inside and reddish on the outside. The faster they are made, the faster they disappear. You take one and you feel like taking another one and then another one & # 8230 and if you are not careful, you wake up that they are finished without you realizing it.

If you somehow manage to save a few more yogurt donuts from the immediate disappearance, know that they are just as good the next day when they are cold.

You can only serve them powdered with sugar, or pour a little cream over them or with a fruit sauce. For us they were perfect only with powdered sugar.

Yogurt paste with yogurt

For the Irish everywhere today is their national day. Of the Irish everywhere. For the rest of the world, especially the western one, it is a beer party. Lots of beer. As my knowledge of Irish cuisine was limited, I thought of coming up with something not necessarily traditional, but at least similar in color to that. irish green unmistakable. Leurd paste, which will say and Lá Fhéile Pádraig Sona Daoibh!

Take about two connections wild garlic fresh, wash it thoroughly, then whisk it as hard as possible. Cut it about 1 cm wide and pass it with a vertical mixer.

It will give you something to hang on to, but don't give up. Slowly - slowly it will turn into paste. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper over it, as well as a couple of tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.

Mix again until you get a fine paste. To this paste add a box (125 g) of Greek yogurt with 10% fat (if you are on a diet, there is also 0% fat - but I am horrified thinking about what they put in it to ensure consistency) and mix lightly, with a spoon, until smooth. It is not advisable to give the yogurt through the mixer, not to say that I did not warn you!

The resulting pasta looks very good in taste with the garlic yogurt sauce that I have often recommended. It goes very well with roast meat, with baked or fried potatoes, or simply spread on toast.

Have fun and see you healthy again!

How to make a light yogurt sauce

Preparing this wonderful yogurt sauce is extremely simple. In fact, as I mentioned briefly in the previous lines, it becomes an ideal option for those who follow a diet in order to lose weight or for those who simply do not want to add more fat to their diet.

And, although it is made with extra virgin olive oil (healthy fats and recommended to follow a varied and healthy diet, as you know for sure), I opted on this occasion for low-fat natural yogurt.

  • A natural skim yogurt
  • The juice of a small lemon.
  • A nest of garlic
  • Extra virgin olive oil with a light aroma.
  • A little salt
  • A pinch of ground black pepper.
  • A few coriander leaves.

Method of preparation:

Put the yogurt in the blender and add the chopped garlic.

Beat well and add the lemon juice, salt, pepper and a drop of olive oil.

Beat again and add the chopped cilantro.

Remove with a spoon until the cilantro is well mixed.

We have the yogurt sauce in a sauce boat ready to taste with the dishes we like the most.

We can substitute coriander for a few mint leaves and therefore vary the flavor of the yogurt sauce.
